Violent crime has increased massively. Even elderly are being killed by youths, they have lost their morals completely. Politics us driving us apart, there is so much hate in the air. If you watch 50 videos that are 30 seconds, how much time have you wasted? And then you cope by watching more videos to take your mind off of how you wasted time. Now you're in a loop. Living in the moment you'll feel time being a lot more meaningful. Even when it flies having fun, you'll remember it and it won't feel like a 'loss of time.'\n8 & 9. I hate to bring up Facebook again, but Facebook set the blueprint for making everyone angry at each other through forums. Now it's fostered petty arguments and attacks on one another into normalcy. Facebook even admitted that they enjoy when people argue with each other because it's one of the most efficient methods to get people to engage in content. Twitter, and any other platform has taken note of this.\n10. Too many people have decided to trade in their reality for the never ending movement of social media and fake lives. \n\nI'm just a millennial who was lucky enough to see the world before technology boomed, and I feel it's way easier to dissect the differences and I can pick these points apart easily. In short, I hope you can find some time to put the technology away, be in the moment, and be with friends and family face to face. Go outside. Have meaningless conversations and discussions with people that matter, and don't care about what you see online as much. Remember: your reality isn't on your phone.
